Food-processing industry

The different procedures in the food-processing industry use or can generate toxic or flammable gases.

AUTOCHIM proposes a wide range of detectors:

Toxic gases (CO2, NH3…) can be detected by electrochemical point detectors in the same way. For large distances and perimeter detection, laser linear barriers and optical fibre offer a very attractive alternative.

In addition, flame detectors allow any fire outbreak on installations to be anticipated

These detectors are installed in a fixed position and connected to a detection station that manages automatic controls such as flashing lights, sirens, power cuts. These stations also allow fire fighting installations to be managed by gas (CO2, NOVEC, Argon, FM200…).

To help you to respond to your problems with refrigerated units, AUTOCHIM proposes photoacoustics detectors – analysers that quantify refrigerant gas leaks very precisely in order to meet standards in force. In addition AUTOCHIM proposes VOC and total hydrocarbon analysers used for example to detect and monitor ethanol in the fermentation of yeasts.
